GLORi Morning (“GLORi Morning,” “we,” “us”) is a personal devotional and journaling app. This page explains, plainly, what we collect, why, and how you can control or delete it.
What we collect
To run your account, we store your email address and the content you create in the app: journal entries, prayer requests, to-dos, the declarations you speak over your family and calling, the creed you keep, keepsake letters, feedback you send us, and — if you choose to add someone — the names and reminder preferences of people on your Daily Word send list. This content is yours. Nobody on our team reads it, and it is never sold, mined, or used to train anything.
Google Calendar (optional)
GLORi Morning can optionally connect to your Google Calendar so your upcoming events show up alongside your to-dos in the app. This is entirely opt-in — nothing about your Google account is ever touched unless you press Connect.
If you connect it, we access:
- The email address of the Google account you connect.
- Your own upcoming calendar events — title, start time, end time, and whether the event is all-day. We do not read event descriptions, locations, guest lists, or any other calendar you do not own.
This access is read-only. GLORi Morning never creates, edits, or deletes anything on your Google Calendar — the permission we request (calendar.readonly) does not allow it, and our code contains no calendar-write call at all. The only thing this connection does is display your own events back to you, inside your own morning.
Your Google access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) with a key that is never stored alongside the data it protects. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings — doing so immediately and permanently deletes the stored tokens from our database. Nothing about your Google account is retained after you disconnect.
Limited Use disclosure
GLORi Morning’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, your Google Calendar data is:
- never sold to anyone, for any reason;
- never shared with third parties, except the infrastructure that runs the app itself (our hosting provider and database, who process it only to operate the service);
- never used for advertising, of any kind; and
- never used to train or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
We send your Daily Word and sign-in codes through Resend, our email delivery provider. Every Daily Word email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and you control who is on your own send list from the Share tab in the app.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) everywhere in the app. Google Calendar tokens are additionally encrypted at rest, as described above. We sign in with email links and one-time codes rather than passwords, so there is no password of yours for a breach to expose.
Your control over your data
You can, at any time: disconnect Google Calendar (deletes the stored tokens immediately), unsubscribe any recipient — including yourself — from Daily Word email, edit or delete anything you have written, and request that your account and all associated data be permanently deleted by contacting us at morning@glori.com.
Children
GLORi Morning is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in any way that affects how your data is used, we will update the date at the top of this page.
